How to study with this

  1. Review within 24 hours

Go over new notes the same day or the next. It's much easier to fill gaps while the lecture is still fresh.

  2. Write questions in the margin

For each section, write one or two questions the notes answer. Later, cover the notes and answer the questions instead of re-reading.

  3. Add your own examples

Connecting a concept to an example you came up with yourself makes it far easier to remember and apply.

Frequently asked questions

What can I paste in?

Anything with text: slide text, a lecture transcript or captions, a reading, or your own rough notes. Between 200 and 8,000 characters per run.

Can it take notes from a lecture recording?

The free tool works with text. In TurboStudy, Premium members can upload lecture audio and get a timestamped transcript that turns into notes, flashcards and quizzes.

Can I upload a PDF instead?

Yes — PDFs with selectable text, up to 5 MB and 10 pages. We use up to about 8,000 characters of text.

Are the notes accurate?

Notes are written only from your text, but AI can make mistakes. Check important points against your course material.

Do you keep my file or text?

We read your text to generate the result and don't save the file or add anything to an account. If you choose “Save and generate more”, the text is kept in your browser until you create a free account and import it.
